Balcony is a spot located in the second, third or another upstairs floor at home, or living building. Often people build a balcony to exhibit the artistic art and also to have a place to relax in the evening with family. However, in this modern era, with busy time and busy people, it is quite often found that balcony is no longer in use. If it is no longer in use, why we waste the space available? Why don’t we renovate the balcony into a place that is more useful for family? These are some alternatives in turning the waste balcony, but please remember to concern your family condition and need.

1. Home library
For family whose members are fanatic book lovers and having oodles of books, it is better to build the home library. It will offer many advantages, the books will be put in the appropriate place, the waste balcony has been magically changed into more useful place for family, and family member who does not like reading will, at least, start reading.

2. Kids play arena
Having many children and being afraid to let them play outside? Now you know what to do with your inactivated balcony. Turn it into kids play arena and your children are going to love you more. But, don’t forget to make good safety since it is located upper part of your house.

3. Praying room
We often forget to plan building this room when designing our dream house. It is now time to change the “wrong” decision by renovating your balcony and use the available space to build praying room. There is no doubt that your house will be more peaceful.

4. Working area
If you are a very busy person and often bring your works home, the useless balcony can be replaced by a room for working. Just renovating it, creating the cozy room for working and hopefully you can find yourself more productive and have more spirit to finish works punctually.
